What is Hyalite Canyon?
Hyalite Canyon on the Gallatin National Forest near Bozeman, Montana is the most frequently used Forest Service canyon in the entire state of Montana. As a result, the area requires added management and investment to maintain adequate infrastructure and amenities as well as to educate the public to promote responsible use and stewardship. As one example, to keep the road snowplowed and open for public use from the beginning of winter to April 1st requires and estimated expense of $29,208.
As of March 12, 2011 we are less than a week away from having a more robust web site up and running where you can automatically sign up for our mailing list, find out the latest Hyalite happenings and find ways how you can contribute to our wonderful outdoor backyard. Or, drop us an email anytime at "firstname.lastname@example.org"
See you in Hyalite soon!
